6 Walking Tours Ireland

A wise man once said, “To really get to know a country, you must feel its earth.” Okay, maybe I made that one up. In any case, it’s a good quote so I’m claiming it. (Back off Damien!) It s also true, by the way, as you cannot understand a place by simply watching it go by while riding your car. Ireland is one of the best countries to walk on. It has a rich history and the only way to feel it is through a walking tour. Here are several walking tours that you should try.

1)    Westport and Maya Discovery Tour walk- Located near the town of Westport, this walking tour is a delightful way of starting you of in getting to know Ireland. You get to walk near the alluring waters of Killary Harbour, the largest sea-loch in Ireland.

6)    Dingle Peninsula walk – One of the three great south west peninsulas is the Dingle Peninsula. Dominated by the Slieve Mish and Brandon Mountains, this tour offers you a panoramic spectacle of the gorgeous landscape.
